The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently checking out the Fernie 2 Neighborhood Hall in Mpuluzi to render companies into the community.

SASSA will likely be rendering solutions such as new social grant applications, change of payment method, client care enquiries, together with the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In an announcement, the agency reported it truly is alarmed with regards to the high amount of people relying on social grants for survival.
“The aim of your Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to the large range of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This can be a result of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no totally functional office dedicated to service the area on a regular basis. The assistance position designed for intervention activities a substantial inflow of likely beneficiaries, which makes it difficult for the Workplace to attend to all people who stop by a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise more methods to enable the servicing of all buyers and enhance entry to Social Assistance products and services,” the sassa agency said.
